Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition … you can’t tell me you didn’t start to sing along as soon as you saw “9 to 5”. If you didn’t, then we can’t be friends. The classic 1980’s hit movie takes to the Harbor Playhouse stage this weekend with its opening weekend. This hilarious musical, with music and lyrics by the queen Dolly Parton, needs no synopsis, but here’s one anyway: “Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot!” Get your tickets here.

Run, Corpus, run: If you’re not already registered solo or on a team, or haven’t claimed a back up spot from someone, I doubt you’ll be running in this annual event.
