This weather has me wanting to stay curled up in bed, snuggled up to a warm cup of coffee and a good book. But, the FOMO is real, y’all. 2024 SINGER-SONGWRITER FESTIVAL

If you love live music, then this is the weekend for you to hit up downtown as international, national and regionally renowned songwriters showcase their talents in multiple venues. This year’s lineup includes nearly 40 songwriters. The opening showcase kicks off the two-day festival Friday night. Find out more here. Escape the rain this weekend with a night of orchestral selections. Curtis on Tour features emerging artists alongside faculty from the famed Curtis Institute of Music. Renowned violinist Erin Keefe joins conductor, clarinetist and composer Osmo Vänskä and emerging professional musicians on this tour across North America. The eclectic program includes classics by Mozart and Sibelius as well as early twentieth century works. Admission: $30 for adults, $5 for students, free for Del Mar College students.
