St. Paddy’s Festival Corpus Christi

I’m still reeling from springing forward last weekend, but that won’t stop me from continuing the spring break and St. Patrick’s day shenanigans, even if my liver might be screaming “et tu, Brute?” (Y’all really didn’t think I’d let the Ides of March pass by without saying anything, right?) Also, just kidding, I won’t be partaking in the green beer shenanigans this year (if you know, you know)… but here’s where you can get lucky this weekend:

Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
100 Seabreeze, Rockport

Looking for your pot of gold? Take a day trip to Rockport to make a fun-filled experience out of it! While you might not find a literal pot of gold, you’re bound to get lucky:  the market days will feature a huge line up of artisans, crafters, boutiques and more, as well as food trucks and live music.

Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Nueces Brewing Company

Are you feeling a little downward dog? Not feeling so lucky this week? Do you feel a little more limber with some liquid help? Stretch for your pot of gold at this week’s installment of Hot Yoga, Cold Beer with Leah. This donation-based class is held weekly in the brew room of Nueces Brewing. Grab a cold one for some hot yoga, and we promise you, you’ll feel like a happy baby in no time.

Friday, 7 p.m.
American Bank Center

Bruh, I’m not even going to lie: I don’t know any of these artists headlining Spring Break on the Bay. I have officially hit elder millennial status. That aside, keep the party going with NLE Choppa, Rich Homie Quan and F.L.Y. at Hot Z95’s Spring Break on the Bay! Grab your tickets on Ticketmaster or at the American Bank Center box office.

Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Lake Corpus Christi State Park

Lace up your boots for a ranger-led, one-mile round trip hike after dark on Longhorn Trail. Learn about, hear and maybe even see the park’s nighttime residents. This all-ages program is free with park admission.

Friday, 8 p.m.
House of Rock

Love Harry Styles and One Direction? Time travel back to the early aughts at this pop dance party dedicated to 2000’s boy band classics. You’re bound to hear the best song ever at this fan-powered party. You don’t know you’re beautiful: don your best 2000-era digs and sip on fruity drinks at this nostalgic party.

OK, y’all. Don your greenest outfits for some luck of the Irish this weekend. In addition to Cassidy’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Block party, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to find your pot of gold – or at least some green beer. Ready to shamROCK?

🍀SHAMROCK CHALLENGE: Is luck on your side this weekend? Head to In The Game Funtrackers this Friday through Saturday to test your luck in this golden contest. Try your hand at guessing how many shamrocks are in the jar for a chance to win a $25 In The Game Play Card. No purchase necessary to win; one entry per guest per day. In the event of a tie, a random drawing will determine the winner.

🍀SHAMROCK SHUFFLE: Are you a lean, green, running machine? Hit the ground running at Cole Park and find your pot of gold at the 7th annual St. Patrick School Shamrock Shuffle, with a 5K walk/run at 8 a.m. and a 1K leprechaun chase at 7:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit St. Patrick School.
